Current Update
I have been in what my Doctor is calling Lupus Remission since January 28th, 2019.
If you know me and follow my social media outlets and blogs, I call it miraculously healed by the grace of God.
So, what do you do when you are graciously given a second chance at life?
You live my Brothers and Sisters. You live.
To God, be all the glory.

There is Hope - Stay Positive
- Soon after my diagnosis I quickly realized I had two options - one to give up and into this cruel nightmare or two to educate myself about this disease, fight it with everything I have and to live my life to the fullest each and every day. I chose option #2. It has been the toughest battle of my entire life. You can’t imagine the challenges and struggles this disease can bring unless you have personally experienced it and I would not wish this nightmare on anyone. No one "gets it" unless they get it. If it wasn't for my personal relationship with Jesus Christ I would have given up already. Period.
- My words of encouragement to a sufferer: Hang in there, seek God like you never have before in your life, find a good support system, do research of anything (herbal/natural) that can possibly alleviate some of the symptoms, journal where you go, what you do and what you eat to figure out your possible obvious triggers (I know it can sometimes just be because the sky is blue that is why! haha) and never give up or lose hope. Yes, your life is drastically altered, but it is not over. Please don't believe that lie - you still have a purpose and are here for a reason. I promise. You are loved.
- My words of encouragement to a loved one - family member - or friend: Be there! Sounds simple, but just be there for them. A text, a call, an email, anything to let them know that you care and love them means more than you will ever know. They are still the same person you love, just with new limitations and trust me no one is more frustrated at it than the person going through it is. Be kind and patient you never know when your battle is coming; no one is exempt from an illness or disease.
I am going to keep praising God, living my life to the fullest, and having fun with my family and friends as long there is still
breath in my lungs. I would encourage you to please do the same my friend.
Peace and Grace,
Teresa White
